Project management

I've been down in San Diego for 2 days of company training on the topic of project management. The instructor was really good because she knew her material and was able to make the subject come to life by adding stories from her personal experience. It was a useful course because it provides me with some tools to use on any future projects I'll be helping on. One example of what I learned was what a Gantt chart is. I've used it on my projects, but I just never knew it had an official name. I always just called it a timeline.
