Golden Gate Park showed some signs of the storm today as I power-walked my way through the park. Here you can see a detail of a light post with pine needles and pine cones strewn haphazardly by the whims of the wind. Despite an overcast sky and saturated rain clouds that threatened to release its burden any second, bicyclists, joggers, dog walkers, baby stroller pushers, power walkers, rollerbladers, skateboaders, exhibitionists and that guy who plays the didgeridoo every Sunday were not deterred.

Hey Glendy, all your pictures remind me of my 3 days in SF this year and especially the pictures you posted on 31.12.2006. We were so lucky to feed the squirrels in the GG Park. They are really cute and trusting...
